Yesterday, 7th July, The Weekend Australian Magazine featured our Windermere St Matthias’ Church on the front cover for an article about the consequences of the the Anglican Church of Tasmania’s redress proposal.
The six page article was written by one of their most respected journalists, Kate Legge. A special photo shoot at the church was held two weeks earlier, with photographer Chris Crerar.
The article is a well-balanced summing up of a sad situation and well worth a read to learn more about the plight of rural churches in Tasmania.
